Dedicated to a better diet for a healther pet

What is the best food to feed my pet?
Unfortunately, there is no such thing as the perfect food for your pet. Nutritional needs vary by species, breed, age, health, and activity level. However, we can work with you to choose an appropriate diet for your pet. Most premium pet foods that we carry meet the following exacting quality standards:

  • Human grade ingredients, from whole food sources
  • Free of common allergens or cheap fillers
(no corn, no wheat, no soy)
  • No artificial fiber sources
(fiber should come from human grade whole foods)
  • No preservatives (U.S. controlled meat)
  • Fixed formula (same ingredients used every time)
Thinking about feeding raw?
The raw diet has many advantages, but not all dogs are ideal candidates Here are some useful tips to remember when considering the raw diet

  • Has your dog been de-wormed?
  • Is your dog’s immune system compromised?
  • Is your dog adjusted to its new environment?
  • Does your dog have a sensitive stomach?
  • Is your dog on chemotherapy?
  • Is the dog new to your family?
  • If the dog is new, what was it eating before you got them?
  • Is your dog’s general stress level high?
  • Do you intend to feed kibble as well as raw?

  • Our goal is to find the diet that works best for you and your pets. If you answered yes to any of these questions, we strongly encourage you to talk to a Bend Pet Express employee and your veterinarian before trying the raw diet.
